Health & Transport:

Frankie will travel sterilized, blood tested for Brucella Canis, vaccinated against rabies and the usual vaccinations, microchipped, with a health book and pet passport. Transport is door-to-door to ensure a smooth transition to his new home.

His Backstory:

Frankie was born in a greenhouse, and both of his parents are white Pomeranians. Since birth, he has not been socialized with people, so he is understandably wary of new humans.

Mónika took Frankie inside from day one to help him adjust to human interaction. He now trusts and loves Mónika (with her since 5th January), but he is still nervous around other family members. When he feels uncertain, he seeks security with Mónika or retreats to his bed.

Frankie currently lives indoors with a dog-savvy cat who ignores dogs and a confident adult Yorkie, who is helping him learn to be more self-assured. His house training is going very well—almost perfect! He also sleeps through the night.

Frankie would greatly benefit from a home with another confident dog to help him continue to build trust and confidence.

We are looking for a patient, loving person with a calm household who can give him the time and space he needs to thrive.

Frankie is in good health, with no known medical issues. Like all dogs, he will need time to adjust to a new environment. The rescue team will be there to support you if any behavioral challenges arise.
