Kylo is looking for a loving family who can provide:

🏡 Secure Environment: Kylo enjoys a peaceful, safe space where he can relax and enjoy his surroundings. He’ll need a private garden to explore and unwind.

👶 Calm Children: Kylo is good with children, but he’s a bit shy and nervous initially, so he’d do best with older children or ones who are gentle and respectful of his space.

🐱 No Cats: Kylo cannot be rehomed with cats unless the family is committed to providing extensive training.

🐶 Dog-Friendly: Kylo is okay with other dogs, although he tends to be a bit shy at first and prefers smaller dogs to larger ones.

💖 Affectionate & Chilled: Kylo is a relaxed and affectionate boy who loves attention and cuddles. He enjoys helping out in the kitchen and is known to be a smart little troublemaker (he can open touch-tap bins!).

🧠 Mental Stimulation: Kylo is a clever boy who enjoys sniffing out treats and participating in activities that engage his mind. He loves long walks and is active, especially when exploring nature like woods and beaches.

🌟 Patience & Time: As a shy dog, Kylo will need time to adjust to a new home and build trust with his new family. He benefits from a calm and patient approach.

What Kylo Needs to Thrive

• Training: Kylo is a smart dog, so with the right training and positive reinforcement, he can become even more well-behaved. He may need a little patience to settle into his new environment.

• Active Family: Kylo loves long walks, especially in nature. An active family who enjoys outdoor activities would be a perfect fit.

Kylo’s Backstory

Kylo is a 3-and-a-half-year-old Malamute x Transylvanian Hound mix who came from Romania in August 2021. He’s been with his current family since September 2024 and is now looking for his forever home. Kylo is a shy and gentle soul who loves to be fussed over and enjoys his walks. While he’s great with ladies and calm children, he can be a bit cautious around men and unfamiliar situations. He’s a bit of a character, especially in the kitchen, where he likes to help.

Kylo is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date with his vaccinations. He’s based in Derbyshire and ready to find a loving home.

• Calm, patient family with experience or willingness to work with a shy dog.

• No cats unless you are committed to serious training.

• Preferably a home without young children or with calm children aged 12+.

• Preferably with experience with shy dogs or a willingness to provide extra support.
