We save Romania's abandoned and neglected kittens and puppies, cats and dogs, and find them loving homes in the UK.
Life can be tough for Romania's cats and dogs. Many animals are abandoned or left to stray, sometimes through poverty, sometimes through neglect. Others have "homes" that see them live their lives on short chains, outside all year round, often with little to no shelter.Neutering isn't that common, and when a dog or cat gives birth, the litter will often be removed and abandoned and discarded in the streets or fields. If they are not found and rescued, they inevitably die painful, cruel deaths.
At Zoe's Home Animal Rescue, we take in stray and abandoned cats and dogs, kittens and puppies. Some are abandoned strays, some are neglected dogs that we are alerted to by concerned locals, some are handed in by owners who are no longer able to cope. However the animals reach us, we get them medical treatment, have them neutered, and vaccinated before looking to find them loving homes in the UK.
At Zoe's Home Animal Rescue, we look to find the most suitable home for our dogs and cats.We have strict criteria for adopting from us, including the age of any children and how long the animal will be left alone during the day. We check these during our "home check" procedure.Once a "home check" is successful, the dog or cat will be transported to you via registered road transport. The adoption fee includes the cost of this transport, as well as neutering, vaccinations, micro-chipping, a pet passport and Bruncella Canis testing. We offer ongoing support to our adopters. You can find out more about the animals we have available for adoption right now via our Facebook page.
